De Seagull 1963 Lume Edition is een eerbetoon aan het originele militaire horloge dat in de jaren ’60 speciaal werd ontwikkeld voor de Chinese luchtmacht. Deze 40mm editie behoudt het klassieke ontwerp van het oorspronkelijke model, maar introduceert een moderne twist: volledig lichtgevende accenten voor optimale leesbaarheid in het donker.

Wat begon als een functionele pilotenchronograaf is uitgegroeid tot een wereldwijd icoon, geliefd bij verzamelaars om zijn authentieke mechanische uurwerk en zijn rijke geschiedenis. De Lume Edition brengt het erfgoed van de Seagull 1963 naar een nieuw tijdperk—waar vintage karakter en moderne functionaliteit hand in hand gaan.

Met zijn karakteristieke wijzerplaat, klassieke ST1901-handopwinder en opvallende lichtgevende elementen, is deze uitvoering niet alleen een knipoog naar het verleden, maar ook een krachtig statement voor vandaag.

DE ZIEL VAN HET HORLOGE

Het kloppende hart van de Seagull 1963 Lume Edition is de ST1901, een handopgewonden mechanisch chronograafuurwerk dat zijn oorsprong vindt in de legendarische Zwitserse Venus 175. Dit uurwerk wordt volledig met de hand geassembleerd in de Tianjin Watch Factory, op originele machines uit de jaren vijftig, en beschikt over 21 robijnen en een indrukwekkende gangreserve van circa 42 uur.

Wat deze Lume Edition extra bijzonder maakt, is de aanwezigheid van een Blue Swan Neck Regulator. Deze zwaannek-regelaar maakt fijnafstelling van het uurwerk mogelijk, wat bijdraagt aan uitzonderlijke precisie in tijdwaarneming — een zeldzaam kenmerk in mechanische horloges binnen deze prijsklasse.

Daarnaast is het wijzerplaatontwerp uitgerust met Super-LumiNova details, die zorgen voor uitstekende leesbaarheid in het donker en het horloge een modern karakter geven, terwijl het trouw blijft aan zijn militaire oorsprong. Onze toewijding aan uitmuntendheid gaat verder dan de zorgvuldige ontwikkeling van onze iconische Seagull 1963-horloges; het omvat ook het beschermen van je uurwerk gedurende de hele reis. Van de horlogefabriek tot aan je voordeur staat veiligheid tijdens het transport centraal.

De verpakking is met opzet ontworpen, waarbij de buitenhoes dient als eerste verdedigingslinie voor je Seagull 1963-horloge. In deze hoes bevindt zich een vintage tinnen doos, zorgvuldig gevoerd met schuim om het delicate ST1901 chronograafuurwerk te beschermen tegen mogelijke schokken.

In de tinnen doos ligt het Seagull 1963 chronograafhorloge, voorzien van de kenmerkende NATO-band. Bij je horloge ontvang je een speciaal label, een garantiekaart en een handleiding met uitleg over het gebruik van de ST1901-chronograaffuncties en het opwinden van het ST19-uurwerk.

Als laatste detail vind je een kaart met een unieke QR-code, waarmee je de authenticiteit van je Seagull 1963-horloge kunt verifiëren. Want bij Seagull is de reis van je uurwerk net zo belangrijk als het vakmanschap waarmee het is gemaakt.

C'est ma première Seagull 1963 et je ne peux plus l'enlever de mon poignet. La montre à un superbe cadran crème. Le chrono fonctionne parfaitement. Le bracelet nato est de bonne qualité. Elle est très bien réglé et est donc précise bravo et merci. La livraison est ultra rapide. Je recommande vivement le site Seagull 1963 si vous voulez une Seagull de qualité. Je suis Suisse et je voulais cette montre mais une de bonne facture.
Je suis ravi de cette expérience et je vais recommander cette montre , et surtout le bon site pour l'avoir, à tous mes amis.

This watch is simply stunning for the value it gives, aesthetically and functionally. The tin box and the packaging is what first caught my eye. Very retro and carrying a good amount of history on its movement and dual too, the hammer and sickle on the chronograph hand is such a lovely detail. I have an omega moonwatch speedmaster with the exhibition back. The movement sits on a Lemania base and is so pleasing to look at, this Seagull movement has caught my attention too, visually it is as good as the omega. I would have preferred it if the leather strap was sold with the piece and not the nato, though I understand the need to put a nato on it. Overall so happy with this piece. a sure winner, a must have if you are an admirer of mechanical watches
