EEN KORTE GESCHIEDENIS

n 1961 verwierf de Tianjin Watch Factory in China faam door het maken van het eerste militaire horloge. Vervolgens werd hen een belangrijke taak toegewezen: het creëren van het eerste Chinese luchtvaarthorloge voor de Chinese Volksbefrijdingsleger Luchtmacht, bekend als Project “d304.”

Om dit te bereiken, reisden ze naar Zwitserland, waar ze patenten en machines verkregen van de Zwitserse chronograaffabrikant Venus voor het Venus 175 kolomwiel chronograaf. Na jaren van experimenteren begon de productie van het officiële horloge van de Chinese Luchtmacht in 1962 en werd deze afgerond in 1963, wat de naam inspireerde.

Het huidige Seagull 1963 Lume Edition is een moderne vintage eerbetoon aan dit historisch belangrijke horloge, dat ooit werd gedragen door piloten van de Chinese Luchtmacht.

De Ziel Van Het Horloge

Het ST19 beweging, een eerbetoon aan het gerespecteerde Zwitserse Venus 175 uurwerk, heeft een rijke geschiedenis die teruggaat tot het midden van de 20e eeuw. Het is vervaardigd door de Tianjin Watch Factory met behulp van de originele machines uit de jaren vijftig en volledig met de hand geassembleerd. Het beschikt over 21 juwelen en een robuuste gangreserve van 42 uur.

Wat de verbeterde Seagull ST19 beweging speciaal maakt, is de Blauwe Zwanenhals Regulator. De zwanenhals regulator maakt een betere afstemming van het uurwerk mogelijk, wat zorgt voor een nauwkeurige tijdmeting.

Het handopwindbare ST1901 mechanische chronograaf werkt soepel met een frequentie van 21.600 slagen per uur, met een gangreserve van ongeveer 42 uur bij volledig opwinden. Voor verzamelaars die zowel de traditie als de nauwkeurigheid waarderen, is de Seagull ST19 een must-have, die een stukje geschiedenis vertegenwoordigt in een zorgvuldig vervaardigd horloge.
