THE LEGACY, DEEPENED IN BURGUNDY

The Legacy Collection marked seventy years of Chinese watchmaking in 2025. It established a new architecture for the collection: refined proportions, a mechanical moonphase chronograph and a level of finishing shaped by years of collector feedback.

The Legacy Burgundy Edition continues this tradition.

Limited to just 1,000 individually numbered pieces, it retains the technical foundation of the Original Legacy while introducing a deeper, warmer and more restrained character. A rich burgundy sunburst dial and wine-red genuine leather strap transform the familiar architecture without changing what made it exceptional.

This is not another redesign. It is a more intimate expression of the Legacy.

The Original Legacy changed what the watch could be.

The Legacy created the standard. Burgundy deepens the feeling.

CRAFTED FOR THE WRIST, AND FOR THE EYE

The deep burgundy sunburst dial changes character as it moves through the light. At some angles it appears dark and restrained. At others, the sunburst finish reveals greater warmth and depth. Its convex profile remains flat through the centre before curving gently towards the edge beneath a stepped sapphire crystal.

Against that dial, the silvery-finished copper hands create a cooler contrast. Their profiles curve subtly above the dial, while polished pin caps conceal the mechanical fixing points at their centres. It is the kind of finishing most people may overlook, but collectors immediately recognise.

At six o’clock sits the moonphase complication, adding another layer of detail without overwhelming the dial. Together with the twin chronograph subdials, it preserves the mechanical character of the Original Legacy while allowing the burgundy colour to become the defining visual element.

The result is richer without becoming louder. More luxurious without becoming ornamental.

REFINEMENT YOU CAN FEEL

The Legacy Burgundy Edition is built around details that become clearer the longer you spend with it.

Its 40mm stainless-steel case, compact 46mm lug-to-lug measurement and 12.7mm thickness create balanced proportions on the wrist. The polished 316L stainless steel is paired with a 20mm wine-red genuine leather strap, reinforcing the warmer character of the edition.

Inside, the Seagull ST1908 manual-wind mechanical chronograph movement powers the chronograph and moonphase architecture, visible through the exhibition caseback.

Around it, the details remain deliberately restrained: a sapphire crystal, convex burgundy sunburst dial, subtly curved hands and polished pin caps.
