LAST 1963 UTOPIA

The 1963 Utopia was never meant to be a permanent collection.

It was created as a statement. A watch that challenged conventions and turned one of the most familiar chronograph designs inside out.

After the final pieces are delivered, the 1963 Utopia will be retired permanently.

Just one final opportunity to own the most unconventional watch we have ever built.

The watch that shouldn't exist.

The watch that should not exist. We built it anyway.

The 1963 Utopia.

We flipped everything.

The movement faces out. The dial faces in. A proper vintage chronograph turned inside out, cream sunburst dial, Arabic numerals, a red star, blue sub-dial hands, all resting against your wrist. Yours alone to see.

This isn’t a concept. It’s a real watch, built around the legendary ST19 hand-wound chronograph movement and unlike anything else in modern watchmaking.

After these watches are gone, the 1963 Utopia will be permanently discontinued.

No restocks. No future production. No second chances.

The dial didn't disappear. It just moved.

Imagine putting it on for the first time.

A movement faces the world. Gears turning. Levers engaging. The mechanical heart of the watch fully exposed. Not hidden behind a caseback, but brought to the front where everyone expects to find a dial.

Then you turn the watch toward yourself.

There it is. The cream sunburst dial. The Arabic numerals. The red star. The blue sub-dial hands. Hidden against the wrist, visible only to the person wearing it.

Two watches in one object. One for the world. One for you.

Powered by the legendary Sea-Gull ST1901 hand-wound chronograph movement, the Utopia is housed in a 40mm stainless steel case beneath a domed sapphire crystal. Familiar elements of the original 1963 remain, but their purpose has been completely reversed.

Most watches are designed to display time.

The Utopia was designed to make it personal.

Because time is only yours.

Designed to turn heads.

What experts say

THERE IS NO COMPARISON TO THIS WATCH

‘With the majority of Swiss-made column-wheel chronographs housed in watches that cost at least $3,000, the Seagull 1963 is a true outlier in terms of value that also offers impressive military history and a charming midcentury design format.’

Teddy Baldassarre

IT IS JUST AMAZING!

‘It’s a very interesting dial too…The pale green military kinda vibe.. very very interesting. For 300 bucks, I mean come on… that is just amazing.’
