In 1955, Chinese watchmaking began with a singular mission: to develop the nation’s first pilot’s chronograph. Known internally as Project D304, the result laid the foundation for seventy years of continuous mechanical craftsmanship.

The Seagull 1963 Legacy Edition was created to mark that 70th anniversary. It is limited to just 1,500 individually numbered pieces worldwide.

Every detail in this limited edition has been refined. Every proportion rebalanced. With upgrades including real heat-blued hands and a luminous moonphase complication, this is not a reinterpretation, but the most complete and carefully executed version of the Seagull 1963 ever made.

Years of development and thousands of collector conversations shaped its direction. What emerged is a chronograph that doesn’t just honour history, it elevates it.

Finished to the highest standards we’ve ever achieved, this anniversary model is more than a tribute.

It’s a milestone, one that belongs in any serious collection.

Crafted for the Wrist—and for the Eye

At first glance, the dial appears clean, minimal, and timeless. But move your wrist and it comes alive.

The sunburst dial shifts between silver, rose gold, and yellow gold tones depending on the light. Framed by rose gold numerals, the dial curves gently toward the edge, magnified by a boxed sapphire crystal, shaped to mimic the warm distortion of vintage acrylic, but upgraded for modern durability.

Each real blue-heated hand is forged at over 300°C using traditional flame-bluing resulting in deep, iridescent blues that catch the light with quiet elegance. Even the tiniest detail around them, the polished pinhole caps, have been finished to perfection. It’s a refinement normally reserved for the highest-end maisons, now brought into a chronograph at this level.

At six o’clock, a glow in the dark moonphase unlike any we’ve made before. Created with our proprietary multi-layer print technique, it features a four-color depiction of the real moon for greater three-dimensional realism and glows softly in the dark with a white-blue radiance. Subtle and serene, it reveals itself slowly, just like the night sky.

Refinement You Can Feel

No other watch under €1,000 brings together boxed sapphire, heat-blued hands, a luminous moonphase and polished pinhole finishing.

The Legacy Edition wasn’t built to meet expectations. It was built to crush them.

Collectors will also notice the new 46mm lug-to-lug size for greater comfort, one of many upgrades shaped by years of direct feedback.
