UNA BREVE STORIA

La storia del Seagull 1963 affonda le sue radici nei primi anni ‘60, quando alla Tianjin Watch Factory fu assegnata una missione storica: creare il primo orologio da aviazione per l’Aeronautica Militare della Repubblica Popolare Cinese. Il progetto, conosciuto come “d304”, portò allo sviluppo di un cronografo meccanico robusto e preciso, ispirato al movimento svizzero Venus 175, il cui design e macchinari vennero acquistati direttamente dalla Svizzera.

Il risultato fu un orologio leggendario che combinava funzionalità militare e artigianalità meccanica. La versione moderna White Panda da 40mm reinterpreta quell’iconico design con un’estetica sportiva e raffinata: quadrante bianco, contatori neri e dettagli rossi che richiamano l’anima del cronografo originale.
