A Brief History
The Seagull 1963 or sometimes referred to as the Project d304 is an affordable and authentic Chinese aviation watch with vintage styling. The chronograph watch was made for the Chinese Airforce and the People’s liberation Army.
It has a polished stainless steel case of 38mm and a cream dial. All our Seagull 1963 chronograph watches use an original handwinding Seagull ST1901 movement.
The column wheel chronograph caliber ST19 is made by the Tianjin Watch Factory and is based on the Swiss Venus 175 movement from 1950! All the Seagull chronograph movements we use have 21 jewels and have a power-reserve of 42 hours.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX
We take great pride and care in developing our Seagull 1963 watches but this doesn’t end when production and quality control is finished. It’s also crucial that your Seagull 1963 chronograph is being protected in the best possible way during shipment from the watch factory to our warehouse and from our warehouse to your doorstep! The box contains a lot of purposeful items. Most important of all, the outer packaging sleeve was designed to protect your Seagull 1963 watch in the best possible way. Inside the cardboard sleeve, you’ll find a vintage tin box with foam lining so the ST1901 chronograph movement is protected against shocks. Inside the tin box we can find the Seagull 1963 chronograph watch with its distinctive nato strap and our special tag, a warranty card with a manual on how to use your ST1901 chronograph functions and how to wind the ST19 movement. You’ll also find a card with a unique QR code to verify the authenticity of your watch (coming soon!).

I am an avid watch collector and I have some of the best automatic and mechanical watches in my collection and when I saw this watch I totally loved it .
The price it was offered was icing on the cake.
When I received the watch the box itself was great to look and hold and the watch inside was shining bright.
The watch looks great and although the dial is small and might not look good on big and heavy hands but for an average wrist it looks good .
